Dark Brown Leather Memorial Bracelet for Men with Glass Ashes Bead

Please note: this memorial bracelet cannot be filled at home. It is handmade especially for you by Jet, who personally incorporates the cremation ashes into the central transparent brown glass bead. During the glassmaking process, the ashes are permanently fused into the hot glass. The central ashes bead cannot be opened or refilled afterwards.

The central cremation ashes bead is placed between two matching transparent brown glass beads. Vintage-style stainless steel beads and spacers create a rugged look and contrast beautifully with the dark brown braided leather.

The cremation ashes remain visible inside the central glass bead. This allows you to carry a tangible and personal memory of your loved one close to you, without the bracelet being immediately recognisable as cremation jewellery.

Dark brown braided leather

The men’s bracelet consists of two dark brown braided leather strands. The deep brown colour gives this memorial bracelet a warm and masculine appearance. The leather strands can be worn side by side or twisted lightly around each other, depending on your preferred style.

The bracelet is finished with a sturdy, adjustable three-part stainless steel slide clasp and will be custom-made to fit your wrist.

Uniquely handmade

The photographs provide an impression of how the finished memorial bracelet may look. Every glass bead is individually handcrafted, and cremation ashes naturally vary in colour and texture, usually from white to different shades of grey. Your personal glass ashes bead may therefore differ slightly from the example shown. These natural variations make every memorial bracelet completely unique.

Because the cremation ashes are permanently fused into the glass during the glassmaking process, the central glass ashes bead cannot be opened or refilled at home. The ashes are safely and permanently preserved inside the glass.

Strong glass memorial bead

The glass memorial bead is created using professional glassmaking techniques and is carefully cooled in a professional glass kiln. This controlled process strengthens the glass and makes the bead suitable for wearing as an everyday memorial keepsake.

Production and delivery;

After placing your order, you will receive instructions explaining how to safely send a small amount of cremation ashes. Once the ashes have been received, Jet will personally create your memorial bracelet by hand. Your completed bracelet will be shipped within eight working days.

Important information for international orders;

To minimise transport risks, any remaining cremation ashes will not be returned with international orders.

A lock of hair will always be returned with your completed order.

For international shipments, cremation ashes may be packaged or sealed in a less visible or non-visible way to minimise risks during transport.

Alternative option: a lock of hair

Would you prefer to include a lock of hair instead of cremation ashes? This is also possible. In this case, the central glass ashes bead will be replaced with a  stainless steel hair bead. The remaining design of the bracelet will stay the same. Please contact me after placing your order if you would like to choose this option.

Legally permitted within the EU

It is legally allowed to send small amounts of cremation ashes within the EU for incorporation into memorial jewelry or urns – except from Germany, Austria, and France.
This is only permitted if it does not involve an official urn, and the quantity is limited to a few grams.
You never need to send the entire contents of an urn – a maximum of 2 teaspoons per memorial item is sufficient.

Important distinction

Although legally allowed, carriers such as DHL, PostNL, and UPS do not accept cremation ashes under their shipping policies.
This means all shipments are made entirely at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed shipments.

How much is needed?

Only a small amount is required – no more than two teaspoons of ashes per memorial item.

No return of remaining ashes

Due to the increased risk with international shipping, we do not return any leftover ashes from abroad.
To prevent loss or delays, remaining ashes are respectfully scattered in a quiet nature area near our studio.

Exceptions – shipping ashes not allowed

Shipping cremation ashes is not permitted from the following countries due to local legal restrictions:

Germany
Austria
France

From these countries, you may still order an empty memorial item or send a lock of hair for incorporation into jewelry or an urn.
Clear instructions will be provided so you can create a meaningful tribute within the legal limits of your country.

Shipping instructions (international)

After placing your order, you will receive clear shipping instructions via email for sending a small amount of ashes.
You will send this in a padded letterbox envelope, carefully packaged according to the instructions.

Please remember: although legally allowed, cremation ashes are not accepted under most carrier policies. Shipping is entirely at your own risk.

We advise you to pack the envelope discreetly and neutrally without using words like ash or cremation.
You may label it with general terms such as craft supplies or jewelry components. Please note this is no guarantee for smooth delivery.

If you are unsure about what is allowed in your country, you can ask your local postal office for their general shipping terms.

Sending a lock of hair

Sending a lock of hair is always permitted – both from within the Netherlands and abroad.
There are no shipping restrictions. You may send it safely in a small padded envelope.
Instructions will be provided after your order. If your memorial piece allows for the inclusion of a lock of hair, a length of 5 cm and about the thickness of a pencil is sufficient to send.

Shipping instructions within the Netherlands

For domestic shipments, you will receive a digital DHL label by email after placing your order.
You may drop off the package at any DHL service point or post it in a regular mailbox.

Even within the Netherlands, the customer is fully responsible for correct and safe shipping.
