Welcome to Ashes Memorials.
My name is Jet Couwenberg – artisan glass artist and creator of handmade memorial pieces. From my studio in the Netherlands, I work with care, attention, and love on every creation – with the aim of offering a tangible and personal tribute that truly reflects your memory.

Saying goodbye leaves a lasting impact. That’s why I believe in the importance of a meaningful memorial – something that brings comfort, whether through elegant simplicity or symbolic detail. Each piece is created with genuine involvement and respect. Not mass-produced, but made with an eye for your story.
Craftsmanship and collaboration
I create most of my collection myself in my glass studio. I also work with other glass artists and carefully selected partners. Every piece is personally finished by hand – whether it’s a unique urn, a small keepsake urn, or a piece of memorial jewelry. It’s this individual approach that ensures every memorial is both personal and meaningful.
I combine traditional techniques with modern materials: glassblowing, sandblasting, resin, stainless steel, and durable photo film. Everything comes together in my studio, where each detail is refined with care and emotion.
