Return Policy – Ashes Memorials.com

Ashes Memorials.com is all about care, craftsmanship and your personal memory. Each memorial item is handmade and custom-made. Because almost all our products are personalized, adjusted return conditions apply.

Personalised products and the law
According to the law (Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code), personalized or custom-made products are excluded from the standard right of withdrawal. This means that in principle they cannot be returned .

Still like a suitable solution
I understand how important trust is when choosing a commemorative item. That is why I offer – within reasonable limits – the possibility to return certain products.

Which items can be returned
The following items can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are undamaged, clean and in their original condition :

Urns that have been decorated with sign foil, such as a name, butterfly, text or photo in sign foil
→ Please note: the urn must not have contained any cremation ashes

Memorial jewellery where the charm can be detached from the jewellery with ashes or hair, such as a stainless steel memorial charm or a glass charm
→ Please note: the jewellery must not have been worn
As a customer, you can indicate whether you would like to receive the charm with the processed ashes or hair back. In that case, it becomes:
– returned carefully and with respect
– processed in a way that is determined by me, so that the memorial charm can only serve as a storage element, no longer suitable for use as a piece of jewelry
In this way, the processed cremation ashes or hair are preserved, in an adapted form and treated with love.

Processing and shipping costs
If you choose to receive the memorial charm back, a fee of €10 will be charged. This covers the processing costs and shipping via letterbox package with track & trace.
This amount will be automatically deducted from the amount to be refunded.

Which items cannot be returned
– Urns in which cremation ashes have been melted into the glass (e.g. in glassblowing)
– Urns with a personal engraving via sandblasting

Cancelling your order
You can cancel up to 24 hours after placing your order, as long as production has not yet started.
Unfortunately, cancellation is no longer possible after that, because from that moment on the memorial item will be produced manually and especially for you.

Return procedure – how does it work?
Send an email to info@crematieasinglas.nl within 14 days of receipt with your order number and your return request
You will receive a confirmation and the correct return instructions
Pack the item securely and securely
The return costs are for your own account, unless there is an error on our part (for example, a wrong or damaged product delivered).
After receipt and verification, the amount – if applicable – will be refunded to the original payment method within 5 working days
Always keep the proof of shipment of your return until your return has been fully processed
