Please note: this piece of memorial jewellery cannot be filled at home. It is handmade for you by Jet, who carefully seals the cremation ashes into the central stainless steel bead. In the bead shown in the photo, the ashes are not visible.
You may also choose a different inclusion or colour inside the bead – for example, if you prefer the ashes to be semi-visible (slightly visible) or fully visible. Please inform me of your preference directly after placing your order.
If you prefer not to use ashes, you can also choose to have a lock of hair incorporated into a matching stainless steel bead. This bead is attached to the same bracelet and will be crafted with the same care and attention. Please let me know your choice (ashes bead or hair bead) immediately after your order.
Design & Materials
The cremation ashes bead or hair bead is placed between two black/silver metallic stainless steel design beads. The bracelet is finished with a secure black stainless steel push-and-slide clasp. All beads are firmly held in place between black rubber stoppers.
The bracelet is custom-made to fit your wrist. You can choose to wear it as a single or double wrap – there is no difference in price. The strap is made of braided black leather, 6 mm thick.
Unique Handmade Result
The photos shown provide an impression of the final result. Please note that your memorial bead will never look exactly the same, as each item is handmade and cremation ashes vary naturally in colour and texture – from white to various shades of grey.
Production & Delivery
Once I have received the cremation ashes or lock of hair, your memorial bracelet will be made with care and returned to you within 8 working days.
Important for International Orders
Note: for orders placed from outside the Netherlands, any unused cremation ashes cannot be returned.
Hair will always be returned with your order.
To reduce shipping risks, international orders are limited to a semi-visible or non-visible ashes inclusion.
This has no impact on the symbolic value of the memorial piece, but helps ensure safer delivery across borders.

We strongly recommend reviewing this information carefully before shipping any material or placing an order.

Legally permitted within the EU
It is legally allowed to send small amounts of cremation ashes within the EU for incorporation into memorial jewelry or urns – except from Germany, Austria, and France.
This is only permitted if it does not involve an official urn, and the quantity is limited to a few grams.
You never need to send the entire contents of an urn – a maximum of 2 teaspoons per memorial item is sufficient.
Important distinction
Although legally allowed, carriers such as DHL, PostNL, and UPS do not accept cremation ashes under their shipping policies.
This means all shipments are made entirely at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed shipments.
How much is needed?
Only a small amount is required – no more than two teaspoons of ashes per memorial item.
No return of remaining ashes
Due to the increased risk with international shipping, we do not return any leftover ashes from abroad.
To prevent loss or delays, remaining ashes are respectfully scattered in a quiet nature area near our studio.

Exceptions – shipping ashes not allowed
Shipping cremation ashes is not permitted from the following countries due to local legal restrictions:
Germany
Austria
France
From these countries, you may still order an empty memorial item or send a lock of hair for incorporation into jewelry or an urn.
Clear instructions will be provided so you can create a meaningful tribute within the legal limits of your country.
Shipping instructions (international)
After placing your order, you will receive clear shipping instructions via email for sending a small amount of ashes.
You will send this in a padded letterbox envelope, carefully packaged according to the instructions.
Please remember: although legally allowed, cremation ashes are not accepted under most carrier policies. Shipping is entirely at your own risk.
We advise you to pack the envelope discreetly and neutrally without using words like ash or cremation.
You may label it with general terms such as craft supplies or jewelry components. Please note this is no guarantee for smooth delivery.
If you are unsure about what is allowed in your country, you can ask your local postal office for their general shipping terms.
Sending a lock of hair
Sending a lock of hair is always permitted – both from within the Netherlands and abroad.
There are no shipping restrictions. You may send it safely in a small padded envelope.
Instructions will be provided after your order. If your memorial piece allows for the inclusion of a lock of hair, a length of 5 cm and about the thickness of a pencil is sufficient to send.
Shipping instructions within the Netherlands
For domestic shipments, you will receive a digital DHL label by email after placing your order.
You may drop off the package at any DHL service point or post it in a regular mailbox.
Even within the Netherlands, the customer is fully responsible for correct and safe shipping.
