Small Ceramic Urn – Raku Fired, Capacity: 1 liter – Suitable for a small partial ash destination of an adult -PLEASE NOTE; the urn is most comparable to the actual height in the first photo.

– The unique lid is decorated with black twigs and a small turquoise natural stone

Description:

This beautiful handmade urn is a unique work of art, made using the traditional Raku firing technique. This process creates exceptionally intense colour shades and a characteristic crackle pattern in the glaze.

How is this urn made?
Each urn is first fired in an outdoor oven at 1100 degrees. The red-hot urn is then removed from the oven and placed in a sealed container with sawdust or other organic material.
The heat ignites the material, creating a smoke spectacle. This process affects the glaze in a unique way and creates the characteristic Raku colours. The sudden cooling creates the fine cracks in the glaze, which gives an authentic and rustic look.

Unique and authentic

Due to this artisanal technique, no two urns are exactly the same. Small variations in colour, shape and finish are part of the Raku process and make each urn exclusive. These intense colours can vary from copper, silver, gold, purple, blue green and brown.

Due to this technique used, it is not possible to place an edit with name and date on the urn! Because each urn is different in colour gradient, you will always receive a unique urn. You will also receive the urn that can be seen in the photos and the video! Once gone, is really gone!

AshesMemorials is part of the Dutch company Crematieasinglas.nl, a registered and trusted brand specializing in handcrafted and personalized memorials and urns. Personalization is always carried out in my own studio, and a large part of the collection is also handmade there.

Although this urn is carefully handcrafted to order, we still offer the possibility to return it under certain conditions.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided that the urn:

• Is undamaged
• Does not contain cremation ashes and has not contained ashes
• Is returned in its original condition and packaging

Urns that have contained or had cremation ashes placed inside cannot be returned.

In case of a valid return, the purchase amount will be refunded within 5 working days.
