Robust urn memorial bracelet for men – anthracite sailrope with visible ashes and hair
This stylish and durable urn memorial bracelet for men is specially designed for those seeking a powerful and deeply personal remembrance piece.
The bracelet is made of sturdy anthracite braided sailrope and is custom-made by hand in my studio.
Positioned on the bracelet are four silver-tone stainless steel memorial beads:
– two beads containing a visible lock of hair,
– and two beads with a visible integration of cremation ashes.
Each memorial bead is carefully placed between silver-tone stainless steel spacers and flanked by black rubber stoppers to keep everything securely in place.
At both ends of the bracelet, you’ll find matching silver-tone stainless steel designer beads featuring a subtle linear pattern — creating a powerful and harmonious overall look.
The bracelet closes with a secure black cap-and-cup sliding clasp, making it both safe and comfortable for everyday wear.
After placing your order, you will receive clear instructions by email on how to measure your wrist and safely send the ashes and/or hair.
Customers in the Netherlands will receive a digital prepaid shipping label.
International clients will receive detailed shipping instructions.

This memorial bracelet is handmade for you and cannot be filled at home.
The bracelet contains four separate memorial beads, each with its own symbolic meaning.
You can decide what is placed in each bead – for example, two with cremation ashes and two with a lock of hair, or three with ashes and one with hair.
Only a small amount is needed for each bead: approximately 2 teaspoons of cremation ashes or a lock of hair about 5 cm long and pencil-thick per bead is more than sufficient.
Each piece is crafted in my studio with care, respect, and full attention. Both the ashes and the hair are processed separately and handled with the greatest care, so you can trust that your memories are in safe hands.
Important information for international orders:
- To reduce the risk during transport, any remaining cremation ashes will not be returned.
- For international shipments, the cremation ashes are always fused in a semi-visible (small amount) or non-visible way — also to minimise shipping risks.
- Hair is always visibly embedded in the bead, and any remaining hair will be carefully returned with the completed bracelet.
The photos shown are examples of the final result, but every memorial bracelet is unique.
Both cremation ashes and hair may vary in colour, texture, and visibility, resulting in a truly personal piece.

Legally permitted within the EU
It is legally allowed to send small amounts of cremation ashes within the EU for incorporation into memorial jewelry or urns – except from Germany, Austria, and France.
This is only permitted if it does not involve an official urn, and the quantity is limited to a few grams.
You never need to send the entire contents of an urn – a maximum of 2 teaspoons per memorial item is sufficient.
Important distinction
Although legally allowed, carriers such as DHL, PostNL, and UPS do not accept cremation ashes under their shipping policies.
This means all shipments are made entirely at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed shipments.
How much is needed?
Only a small amount is required – no more than two teaspoons of ashes per memorial item.
No return of remaining ashes
Due to the increased risk with international shipping, we do not return any leftover ashes from abroad.
To prevent loss or delays, remaining ashes are respectfully scattered in a quiet nature area near our studio.

Exceptions – shipping ashes not allowed
Shipping cremation ashes is not permitted from the following countries due to local legal restrictions:
Germany
Austria
France
From these countries, you may still order an empty memorial item or send a lock of hair for incorporation into jewelry or an urn.
Clear instructions will be provided so you can create a meaningful tribute within the legal limits of your country.
Shipping instructions (international)
After placing your order, you will receive clear shipping instructions via email for sending a small amount of ashes.
You will send this in a padded letterbox envelope, carefully packaged according to the instructions.
Please remember: although legally allowed, cremation ashes are not accepted under most carrier policies. Shipping is entirely at your own risk.
We advise you to pack the envelope discreetly and neutrally without using words like ash or cremation.
You may label it with general terms such as craft supplies or jewelry components. Please note this is no guarantee for smooth delivery.
If you are unsure about what is allowed in your country, you can ask your local postal office for their general shipping terms.
Sending a lock of hair
Sending a lock of hair is always permitted – both from within the Netherlands and abroad.
There are no shipping restrictions. You may send it safely in a small padded envelope.
Instructions will be provided after your order. If your memorial piece allows for the inclusion of a lock of hair, a length of 5 cm and about the thickness of a pencil is sufficient to send.
Shipping instructions within the Netherlands
For domestic shipments, you will receive a digital DHL label by email after placing your order.
You may drop off the package at any DHL service point or post it in a regular mailbox.
Even within the Netherlands, the customer is fully responsible for correct and safe shipping.
